Peachy Keen Challege - frame

Hi everyone, this is for the latest PK Challenge
You are required to use a Frame
I am staying over at my daughter's house as I
recuperate from my surgery.
So although I own this set of stamps,
I used all her material.
I am in craft Heaven seeing that my daughter has a ton more resources than I do.
The reason that I join challenges is too inspire me to branch out and
also with the hope that my project will be selected, and I can always use more material.
Yes we all love winning, Especially Pk materials!

I used scraps
Tim Holtz's Distressing Ink
A spellbinder to create the frame
My cute turtle was colored with copics
Yes, I was also taught how to blend
I know I need a lot more practice and more copics.
I primarily use prisma color pencils but she has somehow misplaced hers.
Grass stampin' up ink
Prisma flowers
fabric flowers - ribbon cut from an unknown source
Liquid pearl in the center
I love how that blue paper looks just like water.
I pasted this on card board so I can either hang it or glue a stand on the back.
I am loving this set
AND
I love PK's Stamps of the month.
Can hardly wait to see what Kathy will create in the future!

Well I hope you like what I created

June's Pk Challenge 2

PK's Challenge 2

Lorie's challenge was a theme challenge - "Things that fly."
Of course I used PK's latest stamp release.

When I was just about done putting together my little fairy my 3 year old grandbaby Mikaylah
asked, "Gammy are you making that for me ?"
In that instant I knew I was making a walk hanging..
I can hardly wait to see her face when I give it to her.
She, her mom & brother having been staying with me
as I recover from surgery and then off to Raven's.

The outfit was paper pieced together with scraps I had laying around.
When I started working on her, I knew that I did not want to use
pastel colors so somehow I ended up using red, pink and black.
Roses - Echo park
Paper - My Mind's Eye's Lost & Found 6x6 paper pack
Along the edges & on the red card stock as well I used
Tim Holtz' Festive Berry Distressing Ink
Wings - Stickles
Hat & shoes - Staples permanent marker
Stem - copics
pink dots - liquid pearl
paper ribbons - My Mind's Eye's with some more distressing ink
ribbon and glitter paper unknown source
OK guys I am totally exhausted so it is off to bed for me.
Hope you like what I created

Peachy Keen's Challenge 1

Peachy Keen Stamps June Release Challenge #1
Heather's challenge was to include paper piecing, ribbon or twine, and some kind of sparkle or bling on
your projects

OK is official I have completely lost my mind.
I had shoulder surgery on Thursday but I so loved this set and was determined to enter this
challenge so with an ice pack and pain killers both
while making this card and now describing what went into making this card.

I ended up making this card not only for the challenge but also
for Aubrey's (my granddaughter's) 6th birthday.

Stamp set - Pk's latest release
Paper - DCWV's Once Upon a Time stack
I went around the purple sheet with Tim Holtz's  Dusty Concord
Then on the landscape I used Wild Honey on the mountain
Iced Spruce on the water and in the sky
Iced spruce on the leaves and grass.
& Vintage Photo along the edge to pop out the window frame.
Grass - memento's cottage ivy
and the fairy was colored with my limited supply of copic markers
with stickles to make the hair pop
Paper piecing on her top - paper scrap - that I went over with
my Scrampin' Up's Smooch
Stickles on her wings and the flower hat
blush - Stamin' up's chalk.
Brad's Recollections
Ribbon - unknown source
I love this card and this latest set.
I can see myself using it over and over again
